Description
This particular Pachypodium is considered a "shrublet," and has long, tuberous roots, along with a fat caudex trunk that allows it to store great amounts of water for long periods of time. It is a slow grower that is about to continue growing in sub-zero winter temperatures. It produces star-shaped white or pink flowers on its spindly arms.
