Aloe

This distinct aloe is native to South Africa, where it is endagered in its native habitat. They grow in a curious shape and as it matures, the leaves curve inward. It maintains a light dusty blue-green color throughout its lifetime. 

The Aloe ferox plant is also commonly known as the Bitter Aloe. It is native to Southern Africa, so it prefers sandy-loamy well-draining soils, full sun, and moderate waterings. 

The Aloe vera is a staple in any home garden, due to its easy care needs and the benefits the "goo" within the leaves can have.
