Opuntia microdasys cv ‘Albata’ “Angel Wings Cactus”

These “Angel Wing Cacti” make perfect sunny windowsill plants with their mini leaf pads and small growth habit (rarely exceeding 18”). Give them direct morning sun outside or a south/west facing sunny windowsill inside, cactus & succulent soil (like our Succulent Gold),  thorough watering when soil is totally dry, and protect from frost.  Also, these adorable cacti appear “petable” but the fuzzy white spots are actually tiny glochids (modified spines) and are quite uncomfortable & hard to remove (pro tip- try rubber cement or duct tape).
