Astrophytum

Astrophytum ornatum is a slow growing cactus that forms a star-like pattern from above. It has curved spines, and can produce yellow flowers. 

Astrophytum capricorne grows slowly, but can eventually become a tall columnar cactus. It is a summer grower, and can have yellow blooms. Pictured in a 2 1/4" pot
